What exactly is hand painted wallpaper?

This faux wall treatment is a unique wall covering which is hand painted by artists and craftspeople on varying types of papers. Each studio has their own style of painting the wallpaper. Some studios specialize in the torn paper, some lean toward metallics, some have textures right on the paper. And if you can't find the exact wall covering that you're looking for, we can have it painted for you.
Then it is hung unlike regular wallpaper that has seam lines. The painted paper's seams are a big part of the look, whether it be a torn random edge or a geometric pattern. And the durability is incredible.
