Venetian plaster is a very durable surface, works well in kitchens and baths or any busy area. Venetian plastser is a term used to describe a surface coating that replicates an ancient building material used in 15th Century Venice palaces. Venetian Plaster was originally made with lime and marble. There are many types of Venetian plasters products on the market today which can lead to much confusion. Some Venetian plasters have more of the natural marble and lime which can make them polish up to a very high shine.  Venetians can be textured, have a matte finish or look like natural marble with their smooth, high shine finish.
Your final result will vary greatly, depending on the application method, the product used, as well as the skill of the applicator.
